AARON LEWIS Tells His Fans Not To Believe The 'Propaganda Machine', Insists He Is Speaking 'The Truth'
April 19, 2022STAIND frontman Aaron Lewis has once again attacked the national news media, telling his fans at a recent concert that they should "stop listening to the bought-and-paid-for propaganda machine."
The 50-year-old Lewis, an outspoken conservative rocker who reinvented himself as a solo country artist in the last decade, voiced his views on what he is seeing and hearing from the national news media before performing his controversial single called "Am I The Only One" during his recent concert at Rivers Casino & Resort Event Center in Schenectady, New York.
He told the crowd (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "I can sit here and tell you that the Democrats are responsible for everything. It's bigger than that. This is the people that are above the people that we vote into office."
When one fan yelled out that Aaron is "right," Lewis responded: "I know I'm fucking right. That's why I sit up here every night and put my ass on the line for the truth. Because, people, the truth is fucking important. And when the same group of people monopolize everything, the truth doesn't exist. It's propaganda, it's lies to perpetuate a narrative.
"Hunter Biden's laptop is real," Aaron continued, referencing U.S. president Joe Biden's son who has been the center of a number of conspiracy theories in conservative media. "The fact that we have American money in tax-dollar-funded biolabs in the Ukraine is real. It's fucking real, people," he repeated, apparently referencing the false story that Ukraine was developing biological weapons with the assistance of the U.S. government.
"Stop listening to the bought-and-paid-for propaganda machine. Look elsewhere. Do the opposite of everything they're fucking telling you, because it's all lies — every last bit of it. From getting a [COVID-19 vaccine] booster to supporting the fucking Ukraine, every last bit of it is a fucking lie. Wake up, smell the coffee that's brewing and do something."
Lewis then started playing the first chords of "Am I The Only One", which takes aim at liberals and touches on American flags burning and statues that have been removed in the country.
"I wrote this song 'cause I fucking had to — had to," he told the crowd. "As a 50-year-old adult male, I was watching my fucking everything crumble in front of my eyes, and I had to write it."
Aaron's latest comments come a month after he weighed in on the Russian invasion of Ukraine while performing in Portsmouth, Ohio. At the March 17 concert at the Vern Riffe Center, Lewis told cheering fans, "Question everything. Everything that they’re telling you right now is a lie. Everything.
"These are the people that are making us look bad throughout the entire world — the same people that have you convinced that we all need to support Ukraine even though all of their money laundering systems, all of their everything, the way that they get all their kickbacks and they wash everything is all through the Ukraine," Lewis said.
He added: "You know, as fucked up as it sounds, maybe we should listen to what Vladimir Putin is saying. Maybe, just maybe, when [World Economic Forum executive chairman] Klaus Schwab and [liberal billionaire philanthropist] George Soros and every other dirty fucking earth-destroying motherfucker all jumps on the same bandwagon, maybe, just maybe we should fucking take a good look at that. Why are they trying to protect Ukraine so much? What do they all have to lose?"
Lewis also promoted intentionally miscaptioned video of a news reporter in front of multiple body bags has gone viral on several major social networks, and has been spread widely by pro-Kremlin accounts.
"If you haven't seen Vladimir Putin actually say that he's fighting the 'Deep State' right now, which is the same people we're fighting, which is the same people everywhere on the face of this earth that people are fighting for freedom," he said. "You know, we need to reassess and think about who it is, who these people are, what makes them worthy of us putting all of our faith and all of our trust in these fucking snake oil salesmen."
Last November, Lewis claimed that he beat COVID-19 by taking ivermectin, a drug with no evidence of being a safe or effective treatment for the novel coronavirus. He said he also used Z-Pak, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections by inhibiting the growth of bacteria in the body.
Lewis made headlines last September when he urged his fans to chant "Fuck Joe Biden" during a STAIND concert in Pennsylvania.
Aaron told the Anchorage Press in a January 2020 interview that he considered the first Donald Trump impeachment by the House Of Representatives as the clearest representation of what's wrong with America these days.
Lewis was a staunch critic of President Barack Obama, telling a crowd at one of his solo concerts in 2016: "Barack Obama should have been impeached a long fucking time ago. Every fucking decision he makes is against the Constitution, it's against what's good for our fucking country, and he is truly the worst fucking president that we have ever had in the history of this fucking country."
That same year, Lewis told Billboard that he would support Trump in the U.S. presidential race, even though he was "disappointed" by the real estate mogul "with the bickering and the name-calling." Lewis added that he voted for Senator Ted Cruz, Trump's closest competitor in the Republican nomination race, in the Massachusetts primary.
First time seeing Aaron Lewis and he was awesome! He puts his heart and soul into his songs and you can feel it ♥️
